The entire team at Campbell Young Associates are the best in the business. Campbell, Luc and I have worked together on 4 Broadway shows and 2 West End shows, and I always feel completely taken care of by them, from the start of the design process all the way through to the day-to-day of 8 shows a week. Initially, as a set designer I worked with Luc Verschueren as the representative of Campbell Young Associates. I was very impressed by his work and manner, both creatively and as a colleague. When the opportunity availed itself, I happily welcomed Luc on board on two sizeable musicals where I was designing both scenery and costumes, Hello, Dolly! and The Music Man. Luc and his team were fantastic. The contribution they made to both productions was immeasurable. Not only was the styling and creation of the wigs impeccable, but the character work was insightful and always effectively contributed to the overall storytelling. I have found Luc to be a real colleague and an ally, not only serving my needs but also those of the actors. I have only been working with Luc and Campbell for the last decade; only ten years of having plays and film immeasurably enhanced by their expertise, and only ten years of having my life deeply enriched by their camaraderie. May it be many more. When you work with Campbell and Luc, first of all, you know that it will be done right, and it will be done on time. You can relax about that. I have worked with Luc Verschueren and Campbell Young on my TV series and movies for over a decade. They have created the most perfect, beautiful, camera-ready wigs I have ever seen. They ask questions about the character, the character’s backstory, the overall story. And then they create. And size. And fit. It is a perfect creative process and a brilliant execution, every time.
